Visa Information

Passport Requirements:
Visitors to Uganda must have a passport valid for at least six months beyond the period of intended stay.

Uganda Tourist Conference Visa:
Most travelers require a visa to enter Uganda. However, many nationalities can apply for an eVisa online before arrival. The Uganda eVisa system streamlines the application process, allowing visitors to obtain their visa electronically before travel: https://immigration.go.ug/services/tourist-visa

eVisa Application:
The eVisa can be applied for online via the official Uganda Immigration website: https://visas.immigration.go.ug.

Requirements for eVisa Application:

  • A valid passport bio-data page (with at least six months' validity beyond travel date)
  • A recent passport-sized photo
  • A Yellow Fever vaccination certificate (mandatory for all travelers)
  • Invitation letter for the Conference (you will be able to generate your visa letter directly through the NNN registration system after registration is completed)
  • Any additional supporting documents as requested

Processing Time:
The eVisa is typically processed within 3-5 business days. It is recommended to apply well in advance of your travel date.

Visa on Arrival:
While Uganda offers visas on arrival for some nationalities, it is strongly recommended to apply for a eVisa in advance to avoid delays at immigration.
