Anesvad

Anesvad is an independent foundation that has been working for over 50 years for the Right to Health. Their work aims to ensure access to universal, public and quality healthcare systems. Anesvad Foundation focuses on skin related Neglected Tropical Diseases (NTDs) such as Buruli ulcer, leprosy, yaws or lymphatic filariasis in places from sub-Saharan Africa like Ghana, Ivory Coast, Togo, Benin, Liberia and Cameroon. Skin NTDs leave marks outside and carry stigma inside, that is why Anesvad Foundation seeks to promote change at local, regional and national level partnering with Ministries of Health, laboratories, non-profits, foundations or private sector while also collaborating with affected population and civil society in order to scale and improve their social impact.
